Two kingdoms, one river. You never command a soldier. You draw the roads they march on, and the armies sort out the rest.
Drag from a blue town to draw a march route. Tap a town to choose its troops or clear its route.
End a route on an enemy or grey town to attack it, or on open ground to gather an army. Drag from a gathered army to send it on.
Big groups hit harder, troops arriving at a run hit hardest, and everyone fights better near home.
Farms and gold mines earn gold. Spend it in the tray on forts, watchtowers, bridges, barracks and more farms. A mine works for whoever holds the land around it. The enemy farms, mines and builds too.
Terrain matters. Roads are fast: troops march 40% quicker on them. Archers on hills shoot further, and attacking uphill is weaker. Forests slow troops but shelter them from arrows. Fords let anyone wade across the river, slowly.
The enemy gathers at the bridges and sometimes fakes an attack. Take Redmarsh to win; lose Ashford and the war is over.
